It was an honour to be a finalist for the Community Service Alumnus of the Year award at Charles Darwin University, alongside fellow alumni doing truly remarkable work, from rebuilding lives in war-torn or natural disaster damaged regions (amazing work & well deserved Commendation Helen Zahos) to the winner in our category who is raising 15 children while studying and supporting a vulnerable community of people in Indonesia & much more.
It was such a special night and meeting so many inspiring people while celebrating the moment with my daughter Lillian made it even more meaningful. I am very proud to be a CDU alumnus and to celebrate my Top End connection. ✨
Happy to see they included my love for my current role at Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre at La Trobe University too
