As of 48 hours ago and with only 8 days to go until delivery I saw a post on social media with a plea from a NICU Nurse from Monash Children's Hospital asking for donations of little gifts that they could put together for NICU families. I couldn't resist and was on the phone minutes later with the unit manager arranging the putting together and delivering of 64 extra gift bags. So by this time next week we will hopefully be finishing off all 188 gift bags for the families at Mercy, Royal Women's and Monash Children's NICUs all going to the hospitals to be stored safely until Santa delivers them to each cot on Christmas Eve.
