The beautiful Aboriginal artwork on the cover of our 1st ever custom @nicucheer cards is a painting called “Great Grandmother’s Country” donated for us to use on the cards by my fellow NICU mum the beautiful Khatija. Our sons Ashton + John were NICU neighbours, but her beautiful boy had a much longer stay than us & was in there for 3 months + 3 weeks after being born at 23 weeks weighing just 360grams / 0.79lbs! John overcame a number of hurdles + procedures to beat the odds + today’s he’s a super cute 3 year old.

Khat’s painting represents generations of women from her family including herself, her sister, mum, nan & great-grandmother. It’s absolutely stunning & we couldn’t be prouder to have it as the cover of our official Christmas card. Be sure to check out Khatija’s work:
