I am very proud to say Ashton's birth story has been published by an online magazine from New York city - Love What Matters. ♥️

When one of the editors contacted me via Instagram DM a few weeks back to do an online interview I was but dubious, but it is a wonderful publication sharing "stories from real people that celebrate love, kindness and compassion" ... after fully vetting them I decided why not.

So I did the interview and our little man's story of being born too early and why I set up NICU Cheer can be found on our Media page, and at www.lovewhatmatters.com/the-nicu-experience-never-leaves-you/ ♥️

‘The sounds, the smells, the whole NICU experience. It never leaves you.’: Mom of preemie creates nonprofit organization to ‘give back to the premature baby community..... When I first saw our boy after he was whisked away, it looked more like a NASA mission. He was hooked up to so many computers, wires were coming out of everywhere. It was terrifying. It’s wonderful what they can do to keep our tiniest little ones alive. It's a community you never want to be a part of, but once you’re in it, you make friends for life.”
