Honoured and Grateful: A Special Day as a Finalist
 

I was truly honoured to be selected as a finalist alongside such inspiring individuals who are making a meaningful impact through their volunteer work across Victoria. To be named in the top six in the state for the Leadership category—out of hundreds of nominees—was an incredible feeling.
 

While I didn’t take home the overall award, I was proud to receive a beautiful finalist pin and certificate. It was a day filled with gratitude, connection, and celebration.
 

A lovely surprise highlight: I ran into an old work friend I hadn’t seen in years—such a joy to hug you, Kellie!

Heartfelt thanks to my amazing husband for giving up his actual birthday to be by my side, and to my gorgeous friends Michelle and Lillian for being the best cheer squad I could ask for. I’m one lucky lady.
